Cookie Policy

This website sets no non-essential cookie without your consent. This page describes exactly what is used, by whom, for how long, and how to change your mind.

What Is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser; it allows that browser to be recognised from one page or visit to the next. A cookie may be set by the website you are visiting (first-party cookie) or by a third-party service embedded in the page (third-party cookie).

Browsers also offer similar storage: local storage (localStorage), which persists until deleted, and session storage (sessionStorage), which is cleared when the tab is closed. This page covers them in the same way as cookies.

Your Choice

On your first visit, a banner offers "Accept all" or "Refuse non-essential". Until you choose, only strictly necessary storage is used: no audience measurement and no third-party content is loaded.

Your choice is kept for 12 months in your browser's local storage (key sitec-consent). You can change it at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Refusing never prevents you from using the site; if you refuse, any audience-measurement cookies already present are deleted.

Strictly Necessary Storage

These items are essential to the operation of the site or to honouring your choice. They require no consent and contain no personal data.

  • sitec-consent — local storage — 12 months — remembers your cookie choice and its date.
  • sitec-visited — session storage — cleared when the tab is closed — records that a page has already been viewed so that entry animations are not replayed.

Audience Measurement (Google Analytics 4)

If you click "Accept all", we load Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC; Google Ireland Limited for users in the European Economic Area) to learn which pages are viewed, how long visits last, the device and browser type, and an approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses (they are only used to derive an approximate location before being discarded) and advertising storage is disabled (ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization denied).

  • _ga — Google — audience measurement — 2 years — distinguishes visitors.
  • _ga_5BXJ0E12WH — Google — audience measurement — 2 years — keeps the session state for our Google Analytics property.
  • To learn more: Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy); Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

Embedded Content

On the contact page, the Calendly booking calendar and the Google Maps map are not loaded automatically: a placeholder lets you load them with one click. They also load if you clicked "Accept all". Once loaded, these services may set their own cookies under their own responsibility.

The Calendly calendar is configured not to display its own cookie banner, because your consent is collected on our page before it loads.

  • Calendly (Calendly LLC, United States) — the service's own functional and measurement cookies — durations set by Calendly — calendly.com/privacy.
  • Google Maps (Google LLC) — Google cookies such as NID or CONSENT — durations set by Google — policies.google.com/privacy.

Summary

  • sitec-consent — SITEC — strictly necessary — remembers your choice — 12 months.
  • sitec-visited — SITEC — functional — avoids replaying animations — session.
  • _ga — Google Analytics — audience measurement (after consent) — distinguishes visitors — 2 years.
  • _ga_5BXJ0E12WH — Google Analytics — audience measurement (after consent) — session state — 2 years.
  • Calendly cookies — Calendly — embedded content (after loading) — calendar operation — per Calendly.
  • Google Maps cookies — Google — embedded content (after loading) — map operation — per Google.

Browser Settings

You can also set your browser to refuse or delete cookies (in the "Privacy" or "Cookies" section of its settings) and clear local storage. Depending on your settings, some third-party features may stop working. To reset your choice on this site, use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
